Good partnerships always bring good outcomes, and that just happened between The Bean Yard Coffee and E-café Chiapas.

The Bean Yard is a coffee shop and roaster that focuses on directly sourcing high quality fair trade coffee. The visited us and our farms by the first time in 2016 and since then, they have been compromised to supporting E-café Chiapas´ projects and Ichthus. They made their first donation to E-café Chiapas in December 2016 and have been constantly supporting the work with do with children and farmers.

With the last donation the Bean Yard sent us, we were able to complete the construction of new showers and restrooms for the farmers that work in our farm Las Cascadas in Motozintla Chiapas.

Over 150 pickers now benefit from this wider and enhanced shower rooms.

It is not easy to bring hundreds of concrete blocks and cement bags all the way up to the farms.

But this was made a reality thanks to the Bean Yard´s support!
